As a computational biologist, I lead genomic analysis in Translational Oncology to study drug efficacy, resistance mechanism and identify biomarker.The projects include:1. Characterize the genome and transcriptome of various genetically-engineered mouse model (GEMM)2. Identify genomic aberrations and molecular subtypes that are potentially associated with drug responses in non-small lung cancer GEMM3. Identify the resistance mechanisms of various compounds or drugs in preclinical models (colorectal, breast, ovarian and prostate cell lines and melanoma, pancreatic and breast cancer GEMMs)4. Characterize the genome and transcriptome of lung cancer patient-derived xenograft (PDX) model and associate drug response to genotype5. Identify biomarkers in preclinical model (cell lines and lung cancer PDX model)6. Assess the compound efficacy in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and pancreatic cancer (PDAC) GEMM7. Design a Fluidigm panel to identify the molecular subtypes in NSCLC GEMM8. Quantify and identify miRNA biomarkers for disease mouse model
