Developing broadband telecom quantum memories using rare-earth ions• Assisting the supervisor in establishing the quantum memory lab.• Investigating the optical and coherence properties of Praseodymium-doped crystals at cryogenic temperatures, including spectroscopy, Rabi frequency measurement, and the two-pulse echo technique.• Developing telecom quantum memories using rare-earth ions based on off-resonant cascade absorption (ORCA) and atomic frequency comb (AFC) protocols.
