Led and conducted applied research and technology support to BC community business and industry in wood sector.Organized and administered faculty and student exchange program between BCIT School of Construction and the Environment and the State Academy of Forestry Administration of China.Initiated connections, drafted MOUs, and organized working group meetings between BCIT and several Chinese institutes to promote BCIT training and R&D programs in China.Conducted a BC hardwood industry survey and promoted the BC local products in China market.

Conducted laboratory research in wood product development.Graduate research group leader - responsible in administration of lab scheduling, equipment maintenance, and supply purchasing and management.

Coordinated and administrated international cooperation projects, such as International Tropical Timber Organization projects.Organized and implemented international project group meetings, project assessments, financial audits, workshops, and conventions.Performed an Evaluation study on Solid Wood Products in China Construction Market,Conducted research on Abrasives Application in China Wood Product Industry.Participated in research projects on properties of imported tropical wood species, fabrication of wood-plastic composites, coal-ash wood particleboards, and median density fiberboards.
