As a Senior Leader, my role is instrumental in bridging the gap between our core data analytics service offerings and the needs of wider business area. My comprehensive understanding of both domains enables me to foster a culture of cross-functional collaboration, aligning our efforts with the overarching data analytics goals of the ATO. My strategic approach and the expertise in stakeholder engagement have been pivotal in streamlining processes and elevating business outcomes, delivering measurable improvement at both strategic and operational level.

Initially hired as a Business Analyst, I transitioned to a Scrum Master role to address a crucial need within the Advance Analytics Platform (AAP) team. I uncovered key challenges within the team and developed strategies to tackle them, transforming the culture into an active participation and motivated environment. Collaborating closely with both internal and external data engineering experts, I facilitated regular Scrum sessions and ensured timely delivery by proactively managing and resolving issues and risks. Leveraging my strong foundation in data analytics, I implemented practical solutions to enhance team performance and outcomes while quickly adapting to new technologies and concepts in cloud platform development and data engineering.

In my tenure as a leader within a dynamic and a fast-paced environment, I have led high-performing teams in delivering cutting-edge solutions across data management, data governance, risk & compliance analytics, business intelligence and visualisation, and advanced data analytics. I successfully led multiple cross-functional teams on data analytics projects and programs, managing budgets ranging from substantial figure to multi-millions dollars scale, serving clients across Australia. My comprehensive role has encompassed the strategic oversight of portfolio planning, financial management, people leadership, and project management, ensuring the seamless execution of projects within the allocated budget and defined scope.

Support the team to build the South Australia Government’s capacity to securely and efficiently share administrative information to improve services delivery to vulnerable children. Accountable for understanding major Government departments' business processes, investigating and analysing business information needs, developing dashboard and ad-hoc reports. Provide self-service support that empowers customers with access to accurate and timely information within a storytelling framework. Provide leadership on Business Intelligence Analytics within the department and across the Government of South Australia.

Gained extensive experience in providing business intelligence support, performing business analysis and undertaking process improvements within the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer. Provided strategic expert advice and specialist consultancy services on data visualisations and data analysis activities. Led the design, development and delivery of a broad range of business KPI reports and interactive dashboards using complex business information within the State Government.

Supported Government’s effective use of business intelligence tool Tableau and influenced key stakeholders on the value of business intelligence and data analytics. Worked extensively on transforming complex business information into interactive visualisations for evidence-based decision making. Worked collaboratively on cross-government projects and initiatives and delivered high quality analysis and reports.

Develop and deliver variance reports to support business decision making. Carried out research and analysis on economic, financial and political impact on organisation’s future position and relevance in the market place.

Provided general enrolment and program advice to the postgraduate student within the Faculty of the Professions. Provided support and advice to academics and professional staff on a wide range of administrative matters. Processed student enrolment data on the Student System and generated reports from PeopleSoft and Data Warehouse systems.
