1) Embedding requirements of Goods and Services Tax Act into accounting system (Mind Your Own Business). The Act was effective from April 2015. 2) Preparing proper documentation to claim Special Refund under S41 of the Act. 3) Change agent in the company to implement the changes in accounting system, train existing staffs to use the system, and solve concerns of staffs and managers either by liaising with Malaysian Custom officers, company’s tax consultants and auditors, or self-study and research on commentaries of local tax experts.4) Registering companies within the group to Goods and Services Tax regime.
