Wei is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge. She has a particular research interest in building resilience in critical infrastructure under climate change. Her main goal is to bring resilience modelling, stress testing, and data science towards practical engineering decisions in disaster risk reduction and ultimately enable the transition towards resilient and sustainable critical infrastructure systems in the face of wider uncertainties. Wei has a compound education background in construction management. She is well-organised, proactive, efficient, methodical, and a great team player who thrives in collaborative and dynamic environments, and is always willing to take on board new ideas and develop them further.
