Conducts visits to job sites to determine the nature of customer service work request. Performs diagnosis of trouble or defect, determines corrective action and repairs system.Completes service repairs, replacements, upgrades, adjustments and calibration on automation systems and components following customer issued tasking, maintenance, and installation instructions. Provided technical support and upkeep for more than 20 divisional computer workstations, implementing software updates and upgrades as the divisional Terminal Area Security Officer (TASO). Maintained conditions and inventory control of ground support equipment valued in excess of $1 million; resulted in a time and again availability for maintenance process. Tested hundreds of engines from different platforms; F/A-18, F-14, S3, E2, C2 and EA-6B, identified problems, and performed myriad component replacements such as power level controls, electronic control assemblies, and main fuel controls.
