He oversees teams across diverse locations and cultures, including the US, India, China, Vietnam and remote freelancers, to develop automotive security testing softwares and devices. With extensive knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN bus, CANFD, DoIP Ethernet, OBD, truck J1939, and more, he possesses expertise in automotive manufacturing testing, automotive cyber security, ECU hardware design, vehicle autonomous driving integration, car diagnostics, used car inspection, and automotive mileage fraud detection.Dr. Yan manages both local and remote teams to successfully deliver products according to the roadmaps. He was also an active members of several SAE's automotive cybersecurity standard groups and holds patents for innovative solutions such as automotive firewall, security testing, and vehicle-cloud security authentication.In addition, He is adept at presenting products at various industry shows and conferences, and skillfully leads teams to follow up on sales leads. He serves as a bridge between R&D and sales teams, and possesses a keen ability to tailor product features to meet specific customer requirements.He also possesses the capability to rapidly build demo systems for training or proof-of-concept purposes.
