Responsible for wireless access network MAC layer system integration, test and test automation, and creating/maintaining automation framework for test execution, system deployment/configuration and software system health monitoring/reporting.• Regular meeting with system team to understand and provide feedback for new feature design documents• Creating Test plan based on system design document. Planning and resource coordination. • Production issues triage and approaching stake-holder from various teams to drive issues to closure. Following up for root cause analysis• Designing new test automation framework using python according to the next generation software architecture based on kubernetes/docker and cloud computing. Sub-tasks creation and distribution• Maintaining legacy automation framework that uses python, TCL, Bash, and Jenkins• Maintaining CI/CD pipeline for system deployment and configuration using Jenkins, ansible playbook, bash, and python.• Maintaining numerous system level testbed (sandbox) environment for software developers• Drove the creation of the python framework for system health monitoring and reporting to facilitate trouble shooting

•LTE data service testing that involves LTE NAS EMM/ESM procedure, PDCP, RLC, MAC•Tested various features in the area of: LTE NW init QoS, InterRAT handover between LTE and 3GPP, NAS spec, Multiple PDN, dual IP stack, carrier data retry, IMS RTP/RTCP/SIP/SDP, TCP, IPv6, RoHC, etc•Author of test plan documents for over 15 LTE data new features. Created the test plan based on LTE spec requirement and software design documents. New feature verification, QXDM log analysis and issue followup•Data transfer throughput performance (up to 450Mbps in downlink and 50Mbps in uplink) verification and issue analysis to meet the performance Key Performance Indicators – PHY layer BLER analysis, monitoring watermark in data path and tcpdump analysis that requires thorough understanding of TCP, IPv4, IPv6 protocol stack. Analyzed the field/IOT logs for customer reported throughput issue.•Regression testing execution and new feature verification for the first Qualcomm LTE data card and the first LTE phone launch •Played key role in Qualcomm’s Voice over LTE solution commercialization. Brought up Qualcomm’s first end to end Voice over LTE lab demo setup with good audio quality and demo to VZW executive members. Created test plan for VoLTE enabling features (LTE QoS and RoHC feature) and drove the test execution•Point of contact of LTE data test team for carrier specific data retry and IMS features. Kept track of carriers requirement document and created new test plan scenario based on any requirement change. The carriers are Verizon, ATT, T-Mobile, Sprint, Docomo, KDDI, MetroPCS•Lead multiple testing projects in product comercialization. Developed test strategy. Coordinated resources.
