My name is WeiChih Hung, and I have worked in MiTAC Information Technology as software engineer for more than seven years.In 2006, I was taking a computer drawing job because of my interests. I used AutoCAD to make 3D model of products, and used Photoshop to do graphic design.In order to learn English, I took ESL courses in Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Vancouver in 2010. The language courses are divided into four levels; after completing the highest level, I took CADD program in order to become familiar with the real foreign classroom environment. During two years foreign life, I met many different cultures and it is a very valuable experience.I returned to Taiwan in 2013 after getting mechanical drawing certificate then I got a mechanical drawing job in an engineering consultant company for a few months. However, my friends were well-paid in technology industry, so I decided to learn computer software program. After deciding to learn programming, I took the most challenging course - embedded system programming in Institute for Information Industry. Being half year training, I have learned a lot, such as computer science, data structure and other concepts, C/C++, Arduino, Java, Andriod.I finished the final project of this program as a team leader, and got certificate which let me have chance to get interview of technology Industry. I got offers of GIGABYTE (server software and firmware), Insyde Software (BIOS) and MiTAC Information Technology (AFC). In MiTAC Information Technology, it was in charge of front-end equipment of AFC systems which including domestic and overseas projects. The main programming language are C /C++ and C#, the software version includes Linux system and Windows Form. Beside the AFC system, I also developed access control system that integrates facial recognition core for this company. In addition, I created lots of gadgets and test software that can help projects go smoothly. Every year, I am appointed to lead junior staff or interns and arrange work to help them fit requirement of the company.In order improve myself, I enrolled the Master of Computer Science and Information Engineering Course of Tamkang University and obtained certificate in February 2020. I also continuing taking English courses make my language skills do not deteriorate.Because of the Bangkok MRT Red Line project, I have the opportunity to assist the AFC system in Thailand as a FAE for one year. I join a Japanese company to learn their culture. My overseas support of this project is ended half a year after the system goes online.
