A final year Electrical and Electronics Engineering undergraduate specializing in Intelligent Systems and Control Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) who is passionate about emerging technologies and would like to contribute to creating new products that help elevate our standard of living.For my Final Year Project, I am developing a control scheme to minimize torque ripples generated from Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM) using a Generalized Integrator (GI) that is integrated into an Extended State Observer (ESO).Besides that, I am also collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of 30 talented individuals to form NTU's and Singapore's first Formula SAE (Electric) team. I am heading the team's powertrain and safety division and responsible for powertrain procurement and integrating power and safety systems into the vehicle. I am proficient in C and Python programming languages and a suite of software such as Git, MATLAB, SOLIDWORKS, Eagle, Altium, etc. Besides academics, I am the vice president of NTU Astronomical Society and organize 5 stargazing sessions each semester with 40 attendees each to allow more people to witness and admire the wonders of the night sky.

Final Year Project (Fyp)Nanyang Technological University Aug 2021 - Present• Minimized torque ripples generated from Permanent Magnet Vernier Machine (PMVM) due to manufacturing tolerances and cogging effect by using a Generalized Integrator (GI) to complement the Extended State Observer (ESO) control scheme.• Conducted simulations in MATLAB Simulink to emulate the torque ripple obtained from the test bench.Investigated the effects of system parameters, e.g., ESO bandwidth, GI-gain, on each major harmonic contribution of the torque ripple with Simulink.• Verified simulation results through conducting experiments on the test bench. -

Test Solution EngineerMicron Technology Jan 2021 - Jul 2021Bendemeer• Coded Python scripts to compare the output flowchart from in-house offline simulationsoftware (checkflow) ran on different program releases.• Integrated a Jenkins pipeline that automates the execution of the checkflow and comparison script upon each program release into the official procedure.• Enabled the team to detect runtime errors and verify test program changes on multiple product configurations simultaneously at an earlier stage in the program release pipeline. • Supported a team member on New Product Integration (NPI) by executing and validating test program changes requested by product engineers on automated testing equipment (ATE). -
