Fluent in Mandarin, Weiko's feature WWII bio pic is in development with Mad Chance (NYAD, AMERICAN SNIPER) and recently developed two original one hour series for Disney Plus Asia Pacific. He has written projects for The Mark Gordon Company, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Ivanhoe Pictures/SK Global, Don Mischer Productions, Super Deluxe (Turner) and Wanda Pictures. In features, he adapted New York Times Notable Book memoir RIVER TOWN by Peter Hessler. Weiko wrote original story and produced 100 DAYS that world premiered at Hawaii International Film Festival and was an official selection at Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival in China with Theatrical release in Taiwan.A Samuel Goldwyn Writing Award recipient and AMPAS Nicholl Fellowship Finalist, Weiko is a Ryan Murphy HALF director where he shadowed on 20th TV/Fox hit series 9-1-1 LONESTAR starring Rob Lowe.He is the author of CRAZY SCREENWRITING SECRETS: HOW TO CAPTURE A GLOBAL AUDIENCE (2019) from the publisher of Save the Cat! and The Writers Journey.
