Weili Yu is a senior director at Pfizer with extensive experience in applying fundamental science of pharmaceutics, solid state chemistry and material properties in driving drug product design and development. In her current role at Pfizer, Weili leads the formulation and process design group which is responsible for oral dosage form development from FIH to commercialization. Throughout her career at Pfizer, she has led drug development programs spanning from Oncology, anti-infective, Inflammation & Immunology to Internal Medicine. Weili was a key member of the teams that developed and commercialized numerous drug products, including leading the drug product formulation team that successfully brought Paxlovid (the oral treatment for Covid) from FIH to commercialization in record time.
