(SSMR) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens Healthineers located in the Shenzhen high-tech industrial park. What I involve in is Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) system. The system is very complicated with several kinds of communication buses such as CANOpen (Controller Area Network), UCI, Ethernet (SNMP) and includes different controlling strategies and algorithms. My main role is to develop the hardware access library running in the both Linux and Windows systems, which on the one hand access the hardware and on the other hand provide interfaces for user software to call. The hardware components I research into are cooling controller, electrical power cabinet, RF receiver unit.
