I currently open to opportunities in consulting services in plant cell/tissue cultures, cryopreservation and cryo cell banking. Prior to this role, I was a director at ArborGen LLC, located in Charleston area of South Carolina. At Arborgen, I lead and manage teams including in vitro varietal production, SE (somatic embryogenesis) process R&D, Cell line development and cell bank operations, and Media Lab operations. From 2009-2010, I was associate director at DPT labs in NJ, a subsidiary of DFB Pharmaceutical Company. At DPT, I am responsible for cGMP Cell Bank Operations, including research for method development and bioprocess improvement. From 2006-2008, I was Manager and then associate director of cell and molecular biology department at Phyton Biotech, also a subsidiary of DFB Pharmaceutical Company. At Phyton, I led a group responsible for the new technology development of transgenic cell lines with recombinant proteins for treating human diseases. I also worked on plant cell culture based secondary metabolites used for treating cancers. Before 2006, I was working for J.D. Irving, located in New Brunswick Canada. Irving is one of the biggest forestry companies in Canada. I was with Irving for 10 years starting 1996 as a manager of the Tree Biotech lab.
