I am an Attorney (JD 1990), a Chemical Engineer (BS 1980) and Businessman (MBA - Finance 1986) with over 30 years experience in providing legal and management counsel in the following fields: business and environmental law, corporate law, real estate, estate planning, general business, chemical manufacturing and environmental consulting. My background includes manufacturing, operations, engineering, civil litigation, general business, corporate law, real estate sales and purchase (residential and commercial) and development, construction issues and construction law (in addition to the environmental roles below).My environmental background includes environmental litigation (air, water, waste, permitting, contaminated properties), compliance (air, water, waste, chemical and general manufacturing), consulting (air, water, waste, reporting) and teaching/training. I also assist property owners, sellers and buyers of real property with environmental contamination and compliance issues. I also assist with business formation, startups, licensing (environmental to liquor license issues), business planning and complex contract drafting and development. I have clients from individuals, investors, chemical and auto parts manufacturers, fashion designers, and sales representatives locally, nationally and internationally. I am also actively involved in Land Conservation Issues as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Southeast Michigan Land Conservancy.
