The Program now runs in partnership with Catholic Education WA and Curtin University.Then came Covid, which forced us to adapt and build an online platform to allow the program to run in virtual classrooms. The platform was a great success, which has enabled me to step away from the day-to-day operations of that business and focus 100% on Finance Broking. Utilising Silicon valley based methodologies, we take the kids from idea generation all the way through to final pitch.The final teams got to pitch their idea to investors and industry at our gala event. The winning team won $5000 for themselves and a Perennial trophy for their school. However the most exciting part is that 5 out of the 11 pitches got industry interested and are being backed and built currently.2015 has kicked off in a massive way. This year we have over 200 teams, almost 1,800 students, 42 mentors and the ideas are absolutely incredible.2016 kicked off with our national roll out with us running as part of the Australian Curriculum as it was in 2015. However the massive news is that this year we are also running as a Certificate III and Certificate II.Massive news for 2017 - we will be offering our 6 month Diploma, which provides a direct entrance into second year University. So exciting.Massive growth means we are now also getting some major players wanting to buy into JSI which we are in the process of finalising at the moment.
