- Oversaw data platform product strategy for a ~50 person ML-based startup, including data ingestion, ETL pipelines, and AWS DevOps infrastructure build-out resulting in increased data freshness, quality, scalability, and reduced costs- Collaborated closely with data scientists to identify, ingest, and serve key data sets and improve platform tooling for model training. Resulted in decreased model development time and increased accuracy of model inferences

I oversee product strategy for all of Zillow Group's user behavior/analytics (Clickstream) data capture and event data governance.The team builds and maintains the analytics platforms used across all Zillow brands that enables the capture, enrichment, and consumption of front-end web/app user analytics data. (i.e. Page loads and user actions on a given screen.) This data is then used by our internal data science, product, marketing teams, etc to provide better experiences to our Zillow customers.

In this role, I oversaw product for an engineering team of 12 developers. The team focused on enabling the seamless sharing of real-time data for Zillow Offers and also acted as a “swat” team when technical emergencies arose across the organization. The team has been so successful in our use of GraphQL as a data sharing and governance tool that the entire Zillow Group now uses our federated GraphQL instance.

As a product manager and consultant, I coach clients in agile (XP) methodologies, lean, and user centered design to help them refine their products to build an MVP and find product-market fit. I facilitate inception meetings, prioritization workshops, experiments and user interviews. I work closely with clients and stakeholders to build a user-validated product strategy, create and prioritize a backlog and oversee weekly iterations.
