Moshe was the first American to contribute significantly to Drupal. He joined Drupal months after its founding in 2001, and has been a consistent technical and organizational leader ever since. Moshe has written parts of nearly every core system in Drupal. He maintains the user system, comment system, the bootstrap system, and render system. Moshe maintains Drupal's CLI tool called Drush (2300 Github stars), as well as Devel module and Drupal Test Traits.Moshe is a member of the Drupal Security team, and founded the groups.drupal.org web site (analogous to Facebook Groups or meetup.com) which was pivotal to Drupal's rise.
