∙Generated the first genetic model in 27 years to increase levels of the proto-oncogene and histone methyltransferase - MLL1/KMT2A and found that increasing MLL1 enhances hematopoiesis, especially hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell activities∙Conducted single cell RNA-seq and bulk RNA-seq to understand heterogeneous signatures of hematopoietic stem/progenitor population driven by MLL1 induction• Established multiple mouse leukemia models to investigate the interplay of MLL1 with oncogenes (MN1-mediated AML, Notch-mediated T-ALL, Ras-mediated AML)• Designed and conducted in vivo mouse model and in vitro cell-based drug assays to study the molecular mechanism of IRAK inhibitors in treating MLL-rearranged acute myeloid leukemia
