Delivered evaluations and treatments of various communication disorders within pediatric department ages 0-22. Provided parent coaching and education to assist in at-home carry-over of therapy approaches (e.g., floor play, total communication, Hanen More than Words). Gained knowledge in administrative work including insurance, referrals, and scheduling.

Worked with high school population including transition services (up to 22 years old). Assisted in generalizing functional communication skills for recent graduates as they transition into college, career, and community. Presented weekly social skills Power Points to discuss topics such as good decision making, self-management, and inclusion. Carried out literacy-based intervention within classrooms.

Implemented an evidence-based hierarchical model of intervention via tele-therapy for adults with neurodegenerative diseases (i.e., Parkinson’s, Lewy Body Dementia). Focused on speaking with loudness, clarity, and minimal strain. Documented daily progress (SOAP) notes and administered initial intake forms and evaluations for new clients.

Conducted therapy sessions and administered evaluations for children from K-4th grade with varying diagnoses including language-based, speech sound, and fluency disorders. Attended IEP meetings and collaborated with inter-professional team (e.g., OT, PT, special education, psychologist, teacher, parent/caregiver) to discuss individualized education plans for students.

Transcribed and phonetically analyzed speech files on PRAAT software to preserve the endangered language of the Jebero people of Amazonian Peru.

Research project focused on inputting dual language methods for children in multilingual homes. Responsible for translating children’s books from English to Chinese orthography, pinyin, and IPA.

Worked closely with individuals on the autism spectrum planning field trips, frequent neighborhood outings, and fundraisers to promote interaction and communication.
