Weiyi Lim is currently the co-founder and managing director at Study Room, a Singapore-based learning centre for primary and secondary school children. He also teaches media writing and knowledge management at NUS. He was previously a correspondent at Bloomberg News, covering Asia emerging market equities with a focus on China, the world's second-largest economy. Prior to that, he lived in Taipei for four years where he broke news on Apple Inc.'s latest products such as the iPhone and iPad with his local-supplier contacts, reported on the deepest thaw in relations across the Taiwan Straits in six decades and covered the island's deadliest storm in half a century. Weiyi had also stayed in Hong Kong, had his own column and radio show before his newswire days with Dow Jones and Bloomberg.
