The non-profit Symposium has been widely recognized as one of the most well-established and well-known events in the United States around education in China. I organized the event and drafted the plan with a team of 5 people, including Xinli101, Harvard faculty, Stanford Professor Emeritus and other experts in the industry participated.Published WeChat articles and created 13 large groups of 500 people.

I conducted desk research on children's ADHD field in the United States and China; I also completed literature reviews based on more than 17 articles about children's ADHD, ADHD treatment, neurofeedback, and digital medicine. As the content development intern, I participated in the experimental design of the potential launch ADHD product through writing report and research script.

•Designed consumer service survey for middle school and high school student users to gain insightful evaluation on course content. Collected 14,000 survey results in one month.•Collaborated with another intern designing the coding schema for open-ended course evaluation and analyzed 2,0000 qualitative data in the database.•Phone-interviewed five parents each week to maintain a stable connection with users, and gaining feedbacks from both children and parents.

Project: Chinese International Students & Parent Study (CISP)•Trained on Stream-of-consciousness Narrative Coherence Coding Scheme (SOC) and completed coding with 14 transcriptions and recordings; Completed 50 transcriptions and translations in bilingual formats•Trained on interview techniques and completed 5 interviews as main interviewers, 3 interviews as a notetaker.•Created the official WeChat account for THRIVE lab and published one recruitment article for the project.•Collaborated with Zhejiang University in China and recruited 10 participants in both universities.Independent Research: Under COVID-19: How the Child-Parent Relationship Influences Mental Health of Chinese International Students, $1500•Conducted 17 literature reviews and discussed the limitations and advantages of the qualitative method. Attended bi-weekly meetings to report summary of research papers and update project progress with the team.•Proofread and tested the research surveys in bilingual (Chinese/English) format in Qualtrics.•Selected assessments and scales for the survey and designed coding schemes for interview transcripts under the supervision of the graduate students.

•Guided and introduced 350 freshmen UCI resources with nine co-workers, including freshmen orientation, campus tour, freshman 101, websites-using introduction, introduction of departments.•Trained in leadership skills, public skills, advanced communication skills, activity-planning skills through two concessive quarters by UCI official departments, including UCI Counseling centers, Interactional Center, etc. •Designed and organized The Hidden World of UCI campus tour with two mentors and attracted 47 mentees •Assisted 1000+ freshmen and their parents on check-in day, and leaded 25 freshmen in the campus tour•Published one article on the WeChat platform and gain 500+ views on the summer session recruitment, helped summer session department recruiting future potential mentors.
