His educational BSCE experience supports a technical engineering background while his field, office and corporate level experience further expands his skillset and management ability. As the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Site Manager, Matt is currently responsible for implementation of Mechanical and Instrument & Control (I&C) activities at the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) Units 1, 2, 3 &4. In addition, he has project managed the delivery, start-up, commissioning, and warranty of major plant components, safety and non-safety related. This international experience has further expanded his learning database.Experience includes program and project level management of continuous improvement approaches such as root cause analysis, corrective action, lessons learned, operating experience, human performance and change management. Over 10 years of nuclear and engineering leadership experience at a working, project, and corporate level. Proven as a leader within the nuclear industry through the understanding of and ability to exemplify nuclear safety culture, ability to manage projects at the corporate level, ability to manage multiple direct and indirect teams across an organization to achieve common goals, and willingness to listen, learn and grow. Exhibited strength through accelerated departmental growth as a Corrective Action Program Coordinator, Site Corrective Action Program Manager, Fleet Corrective Action Program Manager, Fleet Performance Improvement Program Manager, Global OE/LL Program Manager and International Quality Manager.
