First and foremost ensuring all of our engineers diaries are scheduled correctly is paramount for our business, it definitely can be a handful at times but, we have a brilliant team and we are never short on solutions.As one of Entry's Job Supervisors the role consisted of the daily, but not limited to;• Ensuring all scheduled works for engineers has been booked in advance with prior client contact, including creation and delivery of RAMS• Organising emergency works both in and out of hours• Purchase any parts/materials needed for works• Liaising with all clients about lead times for ordered products on their jobs • Liaising with with various manufacturers for lead times on all types of products/materials• Organise any hired equipment, MEWPs or scaffolding• Accept deliveries and update the status in the works schedule accordingly• Update clients throughout and at the end of all works to ensure they are happy with any works carried out.

As an Engineers Mate my role consists of the daily assistance with, but not limited to the installation of the following products;• Industrial roller shutters• Sectional doors• Steel doors• High speed doors• Traffic barriers• Control panels• Automatic doors• Access control systems• Gate systems (swing and sliding)• Barbed wire fencing• Groundworks associated with the installation of the above and to perform other duties as assigned.My time in the role has also deepened my knowledge of setup, installation and diagnosis of the following brands but also not limited to;• BFT• CAME• Paxton• Videx• AES Global• RecordWhen not installing products, as I work in a reactive industry the role also requires the diagnosis of component failure when required by clients, by means of test equipment and hand tools to correct the fault(s) onsite.The role also requires the daily use of hand tools, power construction equipment and electrical testing equipment.

The training and experience gained from working as a manager in the hospitality sector has been invaluable towards my personal development and progression, not only has it furthered my interpersonal skills I’ve also learnt the importance and ability to take feedback from my team and integrate it to furthering a business.From listening to the team in who we should target in order to secure Christmas day bookings, which this year we delivered 39% growth vs XMD last year, to helping improve the restaurant’s social stats across all platforms; tripadvisor 3 star to 4 including receiving a Certificate of Excellence in 2019, Google and receipt feedback. I am someone who strives to progress, to progress professionally and to help progress the business in which I am working. Within 5 weeks of working and training at Bella Italia I had already progressed to Shift Manager, receiving my store keys and running my first shifts in January 2019. Thereafter I started acquiring the skills and knowledge in order to progress to Assistant Store Manager.

My time at Pizza Hut taught me many number of things, it also allowed for the development of new skills whilst enhancing existing ones.Working at Pizza Hut was an interesting challenge of myself, as it was the first job in hospitality that I had worked. I very quickly managed to adjust to fast paced nature of the job, whilst also maintaining the standards that were expected of me. Over my time at Pizza Hut I have learned that guests are first and foremost the most important people in the building. I reflect this by my guest interaction whether this be my friendly rapport with an individual or a group, my ability to diffuse potentially problematic situations or, being attentive to my guests needs without the need for being prompted. Working in the kitchens of Pizza Hut taught me the importance of food safety, kitchen cleanliness and thorough communication. As the company sold gluten free pizzas and vegan cheese, it was extremely important to pay attention to these details when preparing a guests food.
