As part of my university degree, I did a placement within the marketing department at Leeds Metropolitan University. This involved the organising and running of faculty open days, which brought in a large amount of revenue to the university. The placement also helped to develop key marketing skills, such as targeting specific audiences by producing campaigns for a series of marketing lectures aimed at current students and alumni.
