Military Sealift Command (MSC) is a United States Navy organization that controls most of the replenishment and military transport ships of the Navy. The United States Military Sealift Command has the responsibility for providing sealift and ocean transportation for all US military services as well as for other government agencies. As an engineer I was deployed aboard these vessels managing and operating every marine system on board. I received the Global War on Terrorism medal and received 2 "on the spot" monetary service awards for job performance.

This was a summer job where I gained valuable skills in the telecom field. I did the basics; pulled and terminated Cat 3,5e, and 6 ethernet cables for both new construction and existing buildings. And was exposed to the basics of fiber optic cable splicing and termination.
