Contract Project Manager/Business Analyst
Current• Provide project and business analyst services (end-user training, hardware and software upgrades) to Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and back office applications. Create the Project Management Plan (PMP) or Statement of Work (SOW), perform a cost analyst, create the draft Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and define needed resource or vendors. Use PMBoK, SDLC, Stage Gates, Waterfall, and hybrid iteration (2-week).• Create the SOW: Interview the Stakeholders; define the goals, business requirements, functional requirements, use case, flowcharts, assign resources, and dates. Perform a 2nd Cost benefit analysis (CBA) to support optional solutions, schedule management meeting, and present solution deck to sponsors for selection or modification.• Kickoff Meeting: Review draft WBS with stakeholders and project team. Team reviews and updates WBS with tasks, assignments, estimated hours, and dates. • Project Meetings: Hand out and drive the project with current WBS. Discuss completed, current, and future task (long-term). Discuss current assignments and obstacles. Discuss change control. Review Risk, Action, Issues, and Decisions (RAID) log. • Risk: Recognize and discuss avoiding risk at all project meetings (may require change control to mitigate). • Change Control: Procedures defined in PMP. Review requested change, assign resource to analyze and estimate cost. Stakeholder will accept or reject at project meeting.• Documentation: Setup SharePoint site as system of record. Write meeting minutes, send draft to attendees for changes, and publish minutes by email (link or attachment). • Projects: Payroll (W2, earnings advise, ect…), general ledger, account reconciliation, data warehousing, marketing, sales (retail), and purchasing. Manage storage systems, databases, data interface systems & reports, contingencies, backup & recovery. Manage equipment installation, networking, and document warehousing.• Project: 500 to 1000 hours ($20K to $40K) with 5 resources.
