I have a dual role in the Information Services Department at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. I am responsible for developing, implementing and managing a new program for process improvement and operational excellence based on Lean Six Sigma. The program is designed to address the need to become more efficient and to deliver greater value to thrive in the current healthcare climate, and to provide capacity to focus on innovation and transformative projects.I am also responsible for due diligence and assessment of technology for new enterprise partnerships. The hospital is developing partnerships with other healthcare organizations in order to provide superior care for children throughout the region. Technology is an important enabling factor in working across health systems. This infrastructure is often complex and requires sound planning to work well.

Responsible for leading strategic initiatives and directing hospital HIT strategy. Primary focus is on EHR technology.

Analyzed information gathered from multiple sources to provide expert business intellegence to management to facilitate information technology decisions. Interacted and communicated with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Acted as liaison between the business and the information technology department.

Directed classroom technology operations in support of faculty and students at the Wharton School. Planned and managed annual refresh and upgrade of technology in classrooms in three facilities. Did long-term planning for future direction of technology, support and learning facilitation.Worked with vendor to design learning technology for a new state-of-the=art MBA facility including building in the capacity to upgrade expand in the future.
