Welome Ojo graduated from Tallaght Institute of Technology in Dublin 24 with Honours degree in marketing and management in 2011. And also has a Diploma in online marketing / Digital strategy from the Dublin Business School in 2013.September 2015 Welome Ojo went back to University College Dublin to study for a Higher Diploma in Social Policy and went further to study for a Masters Degree in social science (social work).February 2012 to November 2012 Welome worked with Kingsbury furniture as a digital consultant and succeeded in increasing traffic to the company website, which resulted in high increase in sales.From November 2012 to April 2013 Welome Ojo worked with the Ronanstown community center as an administrator and succeeded in building a strong team that was productive.From June 2013 to November 2013 Welome went further to work for Martins services as an online/Digital strategy marketer and at the same time a front line office staff. It was interesting meeting customers daily, serving and dealing with queries on a day to day basis, I gained further customer service experience while in Martin Services.Welome Ojo in 2013/2014, worked for Dublin Business School as a project worker, writing contents for Adventure Tours Northern Ireland.Welome Ojo in 2014 decided on a career change, which was to develop a career in social work, an area of work I developed a burning passion in. The decision to be a professionally qualified social worker informed my decision to work with Comfort Keepers home care Ltd. A company I worked as a reviewer, carrying out assessments, advocacy and improving services for clients. The idea behind this role was to help me identify what it was like working closely with people and advocating for them.Between January to April 2017, Welome Ojo worked as a Primary Care Social Worker within the Cherry Orchard Campus in Ballyfermot as a student social worker.Welome Ojo between January to April 2018 worked as a child protection and welfare Social Worker with the Child and Family Agency (Tusla). In May 2018 Welome Ojo graduated from UCD with an upper 2:1 in Masters degree in Social Science (Social Work) and started working with the Child and Family Agency as a project worker while awaiting Professional registration with Coru. Welome Ojo was registered with Coru as a professionally qualified Social Worker in July 2018 and resumed the title of Professionally qualified Social worker immediately and has since worked with Tusla as a child protection social worker.
