AYG Sports Performance and Fitness is Training facility located in Dallas. We have a 50 yard indoor turf training field, a full court indoor basketball, court as well as Weight-Plyo-Resistance area. The job of an Operations Managers is to ensure that our members receive exceptional service from a happy, friendly staff in a clean and well-maintained facility. Operations Managers hire, train, and supervise all fitness, babysitting and janitorial staff, resolve all membership issues, update past due accounts, manage payroll and supplies budget, and uphold company standards.

The Sports Coordinator will assist in overall program development, orientation and training of staff, and supervision of all staff on site. This person is generally on site every day of the programs and works before the program season beings after the close of the last week to wrap things up. The Sports Coordinator will assist the Program Director in the implementation/supervision of programs through the creation of flyers and rosters, projecting timelines and communicating changes in program offerings to members and staff. The job consists of working with employees of various departments, volunteers, and program participants.Schedule, supervise and train youth and adult sports staff.Assist Director in hiring and evaluating sport staff.Assist with staff meetings (minimum-every other month).Maintain sports files and files on each employee with copy of certifications.Accountable for the maintenance of sport equipment.Ensure the safety of participants and staff at all times.Promotes sports programs to school, youth groups, businesses, and past participants.Must assist with staying within budgeted income and expenses.

• Provide technical assistance to YMCA after-school program staff throughout the implementation of the PEP Grant• Ensure all participants have access to program activities regardless of their special needs• Actively work with 5 centers on a once weekly rotational basis to assist with program focus and implementation• Provide problem solving assistance for obstacles to successful data collection procedures
