Zhu wenying,Born in Shanghai in 1970, has published many stories including “Aunt Lily’s Small Nambang”,“Madam Dai and Blue”,and “High Heels,”Her works have been published in many journals and anthologies and some of them have been translated into English , French, Japanese, Russian ,German and korean. Her short story,“Ephemeral Life”, was published in MANOA, a literary journal published by the University of Hawail Press, in its 2005 issue, featuring “Blood Ties: Writing Across Chinese Borders.” Her peers appreciate her“renewal of a refined sensibility characteristic of Southern China.” She is currently serving as the vice chairperson for the Suzhou Writers Association.
