The most satisfying job I ever had was a work-study position as a freshman in college, polling political viewpoints by phone. I was fascinated by the opinions of the interviewees and pleased when management adjusted the questions based on my insight into the effect that the wording had on the answers received.I'm innately curious and love to learn all I can about a topic, solve a problem and move on. My best work is done following research and consideration of all angles, but I never ignore the gift of intuition. I thrive on making sense out of data and combining that with external information and changing environmental factors to plan a course of action. Budgets are my specialty and combine all the parts of financial data, interpretation and forecasting that I love.My degree in management has given me a solid background in business skills, my experiences in journalism provided me an opportunity to hone my writing ability and my volunteer work and personal experiences have allowed me to expand my comfort zone to an area that includes legislative advocacy and public speaking.
