Having spent the past interning in the business and marketing analytics field, I have not only developed robust problem-solving skills, but also a flair for translating data into business language.[Analytical Skills]In my latest role, I analyzed various data from different social media platforms: I cross-compared competitors' social media data and utilized PivotTable to draw up three terms of comprehensive marketing strategies for a brand-new museum. I analyzed the target audience's habits and did precision marketing to give Moonshot Museum a specific opening outline. Moreover, during my time at Katz, I used SPSS on several projects: For Samuel Adams beer market research analysis project, I analyzed data results of the beer questionnaire and outputted several recommendations to help Samuel Adams extend its market share by attracting more female customers and focusing on seasonal productions.[Data Visualization]I constantly analyze and visualize data to draw business-relevant conclusions. Last semester, I used Tableau to make data visualization of Airbnb open data. I identified the relationship between review rates, utilities, and furnished. I offered some recommendations to try to make a guidebook for Airbnb’s landlords. Moreover, I used Python to make data visualization on several projects, such as how has the vaccine brought hope to society, and did storytelling for the result.
