At Language Untangled we want to help you (re)discover and nurture your love for French and Dutch (or Flemish if you prefer) in a fun, friendly and relaxed way.I'm Wencke and I'm the (most of the time untangled) brain that created this little business . I love learning and speaking languages, and all the doors it opens for travel, discovering different cultures, having meaningful conversations, even making new friends. And it’s also not as scary as you might think – put away any miserable memories of school days!I’m originally from Belgium, I have a degree in Communications and lived and worked in France (Lyon) for 8 years before moving to the UK in 2014. At Language for Fun we put the focus on conversation and progress, and you will soon discover that your confidence to speak grows with each lesson. We will give you the tools and self-belief so you will feel at ease talking to native French speakers, whether it is to get around during your holidays in France, when buying or visiting a holiday home, having to speak French for work or to chat to French friends or relatives. Whatever your level or goals, we can help you live your best French life. It’s never too late to start!You’ll learn with a small group of like-minded people. We take things at a steady pace and work as a group, no-one will ever be put on the spot. You will learn vocabulary in a unique way, including through fun activities and immediately put your newly acquired knowledge into practice in conversations that reflect real life situations. From day one, our emphasis is on communication, building confidence and fun, not perfection.For most of our courses, it’s also possible to join the group at any stage during the term, it’s never too late.I appreciate it can be tricky to know which class is most suitable for you.
