In 1998, I started Utilimap Corporation, a company focused on utility asset management for large-scale power companies. Early on, I realized the opportunity to capitalize on constant IT innovations through developing a strong IT department. Utilimap built client portals that allowed power companies to effectively access and manage their data. In 2011, Quanta Services, the world’s largest utility contractor acquired Utilimap.

After seeing the need for a reputable underground construction company in the Missouri area, I founded American Directional Boring (ADB) in 1988. After becoming a reliable contractor in Ameren Missouri and Illinois, I continued to expand the company nation-wide and increased staffing to over 350 employees. In 1994, ADB was sold to a well-known contractor from the St. Louis area. Following the sale of ADB, I continued to increase national revenue as the General Manager.
