The Geekery HQ is a Friendly Local Game Store located in Astoria, NY. Involved in all Production and Technical Design ResponsibilitiesDesign & Technical Design:• Create quick and thorough technical packages for overseas factories on all the products.• Create Computer Aided Design (CAD) proposals and options for private label clients.• Working with clients to build and plan their line.• Updating and merchandising the in-line products, making sure the styles are always relevant to the season.• Photographing in-line products to be used in various applications, such as line sheets and online.Production:• Managing overseas factories to ensure compliance with production related matters.• Following up daily on the status of all orders with overseas factories.• Arranging of samples for new developments• Follow up with clients to get comments on samples, etc• Send technical fit and design comments to overseas factories

• Liaison between domestic customers and overseas factories and vendors • Liaison between sales and production • Generating purchase orders, and keeping them in order • Production Planning: Making the schedule from production to shipping of each order.• Responsible for keeping track and updating sampling and production reports • Opening up Letters of Credit and/or Wire Transfers for factories and keeping them up to date • Pricing and quotation. • Arranging of sample for development and fits for approval • Imports shipping and clearing • Tech specs, lab dips, trimmings and other comments from customer to factories. • Customer Compliance
