Rise and Shine Wellness is a Pilates studio and MORE! We focus on the whole person and our goal is to improve physical and emotional health and wellness. We offer Mat and Reformer Pilates Classes, Barre, Cycle, and interval fitness classes. Additionally, we offer Wellness Coaching, Nutrition Education Classes and individual coaching.

Responsible for the design, creation, implementation, measurement and management of multiple corporate wellness program deliverables. Including online wellness games, educational webinars and classes, group coaching experiences, educational displays and series education classes. Extensive work coordinating with data programmers and graphics designers to manage product development and marketing.

Responsible for scheduling, delivery and data reporting of multiple existing wellness education programs. Implemented processes to achieve clear objectives, consistent delivery and measurable outcomes. Created multiple education programs and adult learning experiences on a variety of wellness topics including weight management, stress management, fitness, smoking cessation and positivity, as well as chronic condition education. All programs were designed to promote autonomy and address participant’s readiness to change.

Managed all components of corporate health management program including strategic planning, program design, budgeting, and program delivery. Utilized concepts of cognitive behavioral psychology, motivational interviewing and appreciative inquiry to support, motivate, and empower employees to overcome barriers, and reach wellness goals. Participants achieved statistically significant health risk reductions over those who did not participate in coaching.

Created culture of change by teaching primary care physicians to diagnose and treat pediatric obesity in the primary care setting. Designed, developed and implemented all aspects of pediatric obesity disease management program including primary provider education modules, learning assessments, patient education materials, outcome measurements, database design and case management/health coaching procedures. Results included greater physician, staff, patient and family satisfaction, as well as improved patient identification, and management of patients with co-morbid conditions. Additional conditions addressed included asthma management and ADHD.
