(Remote)Manage a team in the Vendor Compliance department for a top growing retail company that exceeded $2 billion in sales last year. At Home is opening approximately 3 stores a month, and choosing to repurpose empty big box stores space. My responsibilities include managing a team to monitor compliance of over 600+ vendors to ensure company policies are followed. My team reviews compliance violations averaging 2500 violations on a monthly basis. Develop training guides to educate the vendors on repeated violations. Collaborate with the compliance leads at the 2 Distribution Centers, and provide training on company policies. Coordinate with the internal audit team on SOX compliance and provide support on specific transactions the auditors will review. Lead a team of executives on updates to compliance charges and revisions of company policies. Draft SOP’s related to tasks preformed by my team. Work with various company software related to; compliance charge management system, purchase order management system and accounting/inventory management. Work side by side with the transportation team on inbound deliveries. Provide compliance statistics and weekly reports to the supply chain department leads.Collaborate with the Sourcing and Buying teams on compliance education and support the teams on vendor issues. Provide compliance basic training to onboarding merchant team members and offer quarterly refresh courses to the team.
