As Program Director for the national non-profit Socialserve.com, I developed our program architecture, working with the BOD to write policies and procedures manuals, employee handbooks and grants, including several from HUD. As with most start-ups, I wore many hats, collaborating with team members to develop projects in response to government RFP's, administering grants, tracking outcomes, creating reports and calendars; acting as liaison with the board of directors, creating partnerships with government and other non-profits, and developing community stakeholder outreach initiatives. In addition, I was the entire HR department, overseeing insurance and benefits. To help our employees meet job-readiness goals, I designed and led a comprehensive curriculum, from office etiquette and computer basics to specialized writing and communication workshops.
