I love that this role makes use of my creativity whilst leading the development and mangement of FA programmes and competitions in both school and community settings. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support a sustainable impact for disabled people to engage in and enjoy football.I'm also so lucky that this role includes leading delivery of The FA Disability Cup, an event that sees The FA host 6 cup finals over one weekend at St George's Park, all broadcast live on TNT Sport, a real spectacle for disability football. Striving to improve the team and spectator experience year on year.

This role saw me leading the effective delivery of the national disability football programme, influencing and empowering 43 regional officers to deliver against national objectives and evaluating the impact and outcomes. The role also allowed me to support the writing of a 5-year improvement strategy, to provide the framework and vision for the future developments of disability football.

After being a football player for most of my life this role gave me the opportunity to combine my two passions of football and inclusion. Leading the planning and delivery of projects to increase the number of opportunities to play across the disability football pathway and engage more disabled players in the game.

Working for this amazing charity allowed me to lead the strategic planning and development of services, providing opportunities for children and young people with severe and profound learning difficulties to engage with their peers in a positive, playful and social environment.
