I bring to the team nearly 24 years of experience managing and designing for the graphics arts department of a publishing company. Over 15 years of experience as a Graphic Arts Department Director, managing department personnel including graphic artists, proofreaders, and free-lance employees.Managed all aspects of the department including; project coordination, work-flow, department budgeting, internal and external client relations, training, quality control, creative direction of graphic design and the purchasing and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software. Also responsible for the hiring and firing of the department employees. Responsible for all prepress, and direct contact with printing companies when print jobs are outsourced; Omaha Print, Regal Printing and Perfection Press. Also designed covers, brochures, promotional pieces, flyers, business cards, letterheads and logos for self promotion and for outside customers.
