• Provide individual, couples, and family counseling to clients to overcome barriers to employability and self-sufficiency while maintaining county documentation• Link clients with ADAS/COD program, complete CalOMS, develop recovery plan to address substance abuse• Conduct intakes and thorough mental health/substance abuse evaluations resulting in identification of client’s strengths and vocational abilities/impairments• Develop and facilitate Groups: Seeking Safety• Assist clinical staff in training and coaching to ensure clinicians’ understanding of program to execute contract requirements and program procedures and protocol• Maintain minimum caseload of 25-30 clients and ensure accurate documentation and completion of treatment plans, diagnosis, and mental health notes in timely manner• Provide consultation, including submitting monthly summaries of progress, to Social Service Agency workers and contract providers to assure effective referrals services for clients/ connect clients with in-service agency groups, classes, and medication referrals• Provide case management to assist clients address systemic concerns

Counseling Trainee: • Psychotherapeutic treatment services for clients and their families.• Led P.E.P. Groups (Personal Empowerment Groups): A group of 10 plus women or men who have been victims of Domestic Violence.• Goal setting to help develop the victims to move forward and create new and healthy relationships.• Utilized progress notes for each session making sure to keep confidentiality.
