Develop and instruct age appropriate lesson plans that help and encourage children to grow skills; physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and language growth. Maintain individual student portfolios including skill check list, anecdotal records, narrative reports, photographs, and label work samples on areas of growth. Completing the DRDP for each individual child. Meeting with parents /guardians to discuss child's progress and needs. Supervision of instructional aids and parent volunteers for a safe environment. Developing administration skills by assisting the director in areas of administration paper work, new student enrollment, school and community food drives, administrating free school supplies for those students with needs, administrating CELDT Test and assisted with the school Sos Wellness Center. Responsible interviewing families and filling out surveys and questioners. My main goal was preparing each parent to become his or her child’s first teacher at home. Techniques where used by modeling how to interact with their child by reading books and playing with interactive toys.Assigned 8-11 families; visit each family twice a week for thirty minutes. Helped each family depending on their needs by providing them with different resource information, made referrals and followed up on the referrals. Observed families, wrote observation reports, weekly reports, evaluated the child and parent interaction and behavior.
