This role involved working with stakeholders at all levels across the University to produce practical eLearning modules and guidance as well as providing business support to faculties and units in managing health, safety and wellbeing. As part of the COVID-19 response I was involved in putting together a remote working portal to ensure that all staff that were working from home had the necessary tools and health and safety guidance to work safely. My work as part of the team was recognised by winning a 2020 UTS CAP Award. I also managed the health and safety audit program to ensure compliance with the University Health and Safety Management System and relevant legislation. In addition, I supported the rollout of the University Health and Safety Strategic Plan by managing various projects including the UTS approach to the safe use of drones.

Undertaking and recording H&S audits and fire risk assesments for clients, mostly schools, throughout South East England. Provision of training sessions for Educational Visit Coordinators. Provision of timely and pragmatice advice as required.

Assist and advise schools on heath and safety matters. Undertaking and recording fire risk assessments. Lead on policy and procedures relating to educational visits. Delivery of training including refresher food hygiene, DSE workstation ssessor, stress management training courses for managers etc. Project manager for the organisation's employee engagement survey (delivered by Best Companies) and assisting schools to analyse and manage their results in order to improve stress management and general staff wellbeing.
