Leads the strategic direction and serves as expert counsel and advisor to the Bureau Director utilizing evidence-based strategies on the development and implementation of high-priority initiatives for 183 Bureau-funded elementary and secondary schools and two postsecondary institutions, located on 64 reservations in 23 states, serving approximately 46,000 Native American students.

Consults with and guides doctoral students in determining the most effective research methodologies, analysis, and presentation of results in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods studies to employ in their Dissertation in Practice. Serves as lead committee member on Dissertation proposals and presentations.

Coordinated the work, deliverables, and strategic planning of five divisions under the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for an $8.6 billion budget: Office of Budget Program Performance, Office of Financial Management, Business Management Office, Office of Assurance and Compliance, and Office of Data Analytics.

Oversaw enterprise-wide strategic planning, change management, organizational design, organizational performance, risk management and internal controls (RMIC), process improvement, and project management for the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), a worldwide organization serving 12,000 employees and 68,000 students located in 11 foreign countries, 7 states, and 2 territories across 10 time zones. Mobilized and led DoDEA’s cross-functional team to author the DoDEA COVID-19 Operational Guidelines and Protocols for Schools, aligned to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and DoD policy, which systematically cemented DoDEA’s approach to implementing layered mitigation strategies to prevent transmission of the virus in schools as well as protocols for virtual and remote instruction.
