Developed the Inclusion projects of the Advonet Group: services that focus on inclusion of people with learning disabilities and our autism services. Member of Advonet Senior management Team.Leeds and Yorkshire AIM services: supporting the development of several new project areas and funding streams ,involving the expansion of the team and autistic staff. Development of Post Diagnostic support offer led by autistic peer development workers. Development of the autism Health Access Project to increase access for autistic adults in local GP surgeries through peer support, training for health professionals and self advocacy resources.Yorkshire Autism AIM Mental Health Equity Project: 4 year funding to improve access to mental health services across West Yorkshire. Development of our autism Peer Support and Mentoring offers.Pilot Autism hubs, post diagnostic support and health navigators in wider West Yorkshire.CHANGE :Continuing to develop and provide a range of accessible resources and training nationally and internationally and range of local or national projects, including: OutSpoken Project: LGBTQ people with learning disabilities and autistic people- self advocacy workshops, training for health professionals, resources. 2015: Developed Leeds Autism AIM: an Advocacy, Information and Mentoring service. This was initially an Autism Innovation Fund project aimed at reaching autistic adults locally who get little or no funded support co run by an autistic led steering group. Developed the Lovell Leeds Autism Hub: a weekly drop in service providing information, advocacy, CAB and employment advice, workshops and peer support, co run by autistic adults. 2016-17: Additional Autism Hub for South/East Leeds.Developed additional funded autism provision within the service, led by what autistic adults said was needed with focus on partnership work to increase access to wider services.

2012-2014: Developed our Autism Project : recruiting, training and managing a team of specialist volunteers and providing information and training to our professional advocates. Took the lead in planning the 2014 Leeds Autism Information Event with other providers. Represent providers on the Leeds Autism Partnership Board.2014: Developed the Autism Leeds directory : an on line resource with a directory of services for autistic adults in Leeds, information links, training resources and news and events. 2014- Initiated the autism mentoring project: recruiting and training skilled volunteers who can work one to one with autistic adults to help them reach their goals.Gained additional funded autism projects and partnership work locally to develop the service and increase inclusion for autistic adults.
