I work closely with patients, residents, and their families to find the best treatment plans and make the appropriate changes to the treatment plans. I administer MDS interviews, Abaqas interviews, complete admission and discharge paperwork. I arrange transportation as needed outside of the facility. I work closely with the nursing staff to make sure that any issue that may arise is reviewed in a timely manner. I also step in for the Director when she is not in the building. We complete regular Care Plan meetings for resident/patient and review all treatment plans that are current.

I work closely with brokers, their clients, and the employees to find the best insurance options for their budgets. I assist in resolving claim issues for clients or employees. I build presentations for brokers to take to their clients and present the products of interest.

I greeted customers, created a telemarketing system, created an invoicing system for one line of products, assisted the accountant with filing registrations with the State of TN, and completed John Deere and STIHL training.

I began as customer service and parts manager, then added traffic manager, shipping manager, accounts receivable manager, credit manager, office manager, and plant manager. I developed our invoicing system and schedule system. I worked with many vendors to build contracts and to amend contracts for products and services. I developed relationships with companies across the country and into Canada and even had some contacts in Israel. I had to resolve issues with employees, families, clients, and other companies we were associated with at times. I reported monthly, quarterly, and yearly regarding sales, profits, losses, and growth directly to the owner.

I was responsible for daily, weekly, monthly sales reports, staffing, payroll submission, training, hiring, money handling, and marketing sales. I assisted in opening new stores, helped as a floating manager in 4 different stores as well as my own when staffing in other stores was a problem. My store's sales grew to almost $500,000/yr.

I was a co-owner and manager along with my father. We only accepted government contracts. We contracted with Monroe County Government to start the Cherohala Skyway Visitor Center. We began with an empty plot of land, designed the building, laid the sod, and designed the furniture and shelving. Ee worked with the U.S. Forest Service and their Older American Program to staff the visitor center. I trained the staff, developed the reporting systems for the federal and local governmental agencies, built relationships with other tourism associated facilities, began annual events to promote local support and encourage tourism, and worked with federal and local government budgets for funding. Our retail sales were used to offset some of the costs incurred with the intent to be completely self sufficient.
