I have 28+ years experience in the education field and now looking to make a career change. I currently live in a rural area between Minneapolis and Duluth. I have a continued passion for studying, learning, and teaching. My successful career as a teacher allowed me to grow professionally and raise my family. I have held a variety of roles as a teacher leader and my career in education helped me recognize and nurture my professional strengths including group leadership, staff development, curriculum development, task analysis, problem-solving, data analysis, and data-based decision making. I want to begin a second challenging career, and I am willing to explore opportunities outside the education industry. I am particularly motivated by neurological sciences research and the link between medical research and the impact on teaching and learning.
