Wendy is an experienced educator having worked in independent K-12 day and boarding schools in Victoria and Queensland prior to being initially appointed as Dean and now Principal of St Ann’s College, a tertiary residential college in North Adelaide. Her experience in pastoral care and individual student development is supported by a Master’s Degree in Education (Guidance and Counseling) from University of Southern Qld and she is an accredited Mental Health First Aider.Wendy is a member of APSAA Professional Development committee having served on the Industry Advancement committee previously, and a past member of the Positive Education Schools Association (PESA) Queensland State Committee and the Performing Arts Advisory Committee (Charters Towers).Her interest in regional, rural and remote education resulted in invitations to the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) National Dialogue on High Quality Professional Learning for RRR (Regional, Rural and Remote) Educators, as well as the Australian National University (ANU) Beyond Year 12 Forum for educators from throughout Australia.
